Aspire People are excited to be working with a fantastic school in Wednesbury, seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join their dedicated teaching team after Easter 2026, 5 days a week ongoing. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented educator to deliver engaging lessons, helping students develop practical cooking skills, food safety knowledge, and an understanding of nutrition and food science.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and inspiring Food Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that engage and challenge students
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively and foster a safe and supportive atmosphere
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Passion for teaching and a genuine desire to help students achieve their full potential
* Strong knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum and relevant assessment processes
