The jobholder's role is to join the security operations at at a Maidenhead site on Belmont Road. This team maintains the security of the building through the performance of tasks including. This will be achieved through applying thorough access control procedures, carrying out site inductions, planned & ad-hoc site patrols together with other duties as determined by the Assignment Instructions. You will be working an average of 57.5 hours per week covering Monday - Friday days. Shift times will be: 07:15 -18:45. A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential To be proactive and confident with the ability to deal tactfully with difficult and sensitive situations. Significant experience of manned-guarding operations. Good understanding of standard IT applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Significant (non-technical) experience of security technologies (CCTV, access control, alarm systems, secure storage systems, etc.) Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards What are you going to do: Investigates any breaches of security CCTV monitoring under security operations control is carried out in an appropriate manner (adhering to relevant legislation) Escorts alarm engineers when remedial work is being carried out Alarm setting/un-setting routines Escorting of visitors/contractors Escorts of high-value product (to/from internal departments) Internal/external building patrols Supervision of high-value deliveries/collections Distribution of contractor/visitor passes Front of house reception duties Monitors Fire Panels Maintain your own training records via Corps Colleague Portal such that your skills remain up to date, and in particular your first aid and fire marshal training is in accordance with legislative guidelines. Continuously apply your SIA skills. Your SIA licence must be always displayed. Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
