Software Engineer Document Management & Workflow Systems
Details:
* Initial6-month contract
* Fully remote, EU working hours
* Start end of Feb / early March
Were looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Contractor) to support a regulated banking client on their Document Management & Workflow systems. The role focuses on platforms covering the full document lifecycle (generation, capture, archiving, signing) using SharePoint Online and cloud technologies.
Key requirements:
* Hands-on experience building Document Management systems in SharePoint Online (essential)
* Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or similar
* Experience with AWS (S3, OpenSearch)
* Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
* Experience in regulated environments (banking/finance preferred)
* Fluent English
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and maintain document management, archiving, and signing solutions
2. Work with APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications
3. Ensure software meets IT standards, security, and compliance requirements
4. Collaborate with stakeholders and external vendors on solutions and roadmaps
5. Support security hardening and vulnerability management
