The Role Assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. General assembly of small sub-assemblies to larger sections. Fitting bearings, taper lock pulleys and gears. Running pneumatic & hydraulic pipework. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication. The Person Fully time-served mechanical fitter/engineer. Must hold a mechanical engineering qualification. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly and fabrication tasks.
