The Commercial Account Manager is a pivotal role at the intersection of our Commercial and Operational teams, ensuring that our customers are fully informed, supported and set up for success. This role is not just about resolving queries, its about preventing them. By taking ownership of the customer journey, ensuring clarity in documentation and fostering a strong collaboration you’ll help us deliver a seamless high quality experience that reflects our values and drives long term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Enablemnet & Relationship Management:
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers through regular engagement – via phone, email, video calls and in person meetings.
• Ensure customers are fully informed and prepared for all commercial aspects of their projects, reducing the likelihood of disputes or confusion.
• Act as a key point of contact, listening to customer needs and translating them int actionable insights for internal teams.
• Champion our values in every interaction – showing care, agility, passion, empowerment and ownership.
Query Prevention & Resolution:
• Identify root causes of queries and implement preventative measures to improve future processes.
• Communicate clearly and confidently with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues swiftly and constructively.
Reporting & Coordination
• Support the Commercial Director and Operations Manager with monthly reporting ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Liaise with Finance to ensure alignment on billing and commercial reporting.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and solve problems.
• Confidence in building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with commercial and Sub-contracting process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant tools.
• A Passion for continuous improvement and delivering excellence.
