About The Role
At OCS Group, we are recruiting a Security Officer who will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site and ensuring that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.
You will be working on a 4-on-4-off night shift pattern, 19:00 to 07:00, on a permanent full-time basis; 42 hours per week. Your main responsibilities may also include:
1. Acting as a first-line support to employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service.
2. Fire, security, and building systems monitoring.
3. Service area barrier control and traffic management.
4. Completing Searches on site to Include Person, Vehicle, and Lockers,
5. Completing multiple site patrols both internal and external
6. Theft Prevention by monitoring items being removed from the site.
To succeed in this role you will need the following :
7. Experience of working within the Security Industry
8. SIA license is essential
9. Ability to work on own initiative
10. A professional demeanor and good written and verbal communication skills
