We’re supporting a specialist further‑education provider in Coventry that works with young adults aged 16–25 who have a range of additional needs. They are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Learning Support Assistants to join their team and help learners develop confidence, independence, and key life skills.
About The Role
As an LSA, you’ll play a hands‑on role in supporting learners with a variety of needs, which may include:
1. Autism andmunication needs
2. Physical disabilities
3. Social, emotional, or behavioural needs
Your day will involve:
4. Providing tailored support in lessons and practical sessions
5. Encouraging independence and engagement
6. Assisting with personal care where required
7. Helping learners access activities both on‑site and in themunity
8. Working closely with tutors and support teams to create a positive learning experience
What you'll need to succeed
9. Experience in SEND, care, or support work is beneficial
10. A patient, calm, and proactive approach
11. A genuine interest in helping young people progress
12. Willingness to support with personal care if needed
