To carry out all required maintenance and decoration duties, in line with an approved task list, working unsupervised.

We're looking for dedicated, reliable and proactive individuals with a background in maintenance, or similar, to join the team.

Responsibilities

* Provide excellent customer service.
* Ensure a clean, safe and legal workplace.
* Adhere to Wetherspoon’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
* Work with third‑party contractors.
* Ensure that all work completed by you, or by an approved contractor, is in line with the company’s design standard operating procedures (DSOPs).
* Carry out any reasonable task, as requested, to meet the needs of the business.


Desired Skills & Qualifications

* Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks.
* Ability to work unsupervised and resolve problems using your own knowledge while working within relevant guidelines.
* Passion and enthusiasm for the role and commitment to colleagues and the pub.
* Friendly nature and good communication skills.
* Honest, trustworthy and respectful.
* Remain calm when working in a fast‑paced environment.
* Adhere to Wetherspoon’s appearance standards, ensuring that, when required, correct PPE is worn.
