Experienced Exams Officer - Full Time Start Date: ASAP Location: Pinner, London Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Salary: £16 - £18 an hour Are you a meticulous and organised Exams Officer with a strong track record in managing school examinations? Do you have experience using a school Management Information System (MIS) and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Exams Officer to join our secondary school in Pinner. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, with potential to extend into the next academic year. Key Responsibilities: Manage the administration and smooth running of all internal and external examinations (GCSEs, mocks, etc.) Liaise with exam boards, invigilators, staff, and students to ensure compliance with all regulations and procedures Oversee exam entry, timetabling, rooming, and seating arrangements Ensure accurate and timely submission of data using the school's MIS Maintain up-to-date records and handle post-results services The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Proven experience in an Exams Officer role within a school setting Strong knowledge of JCQ regulations and exam board procedures Experience using a school MIS (e.g. SIMS, Arbor, or similar - essential) Excellent organisational and communication skills A calm and professional manner, especially during high-pressure periods This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting student success in a well-respected and friendly school community.
