About the role
We are Advanced Actuators in Silsden, and we need some extra support in our fitting department as we are getting very busy in the coming months. We are open to permanent staff or someone looking for a temporary contract, until around March 2026. We work four longer days (8-6), and a half day Friday (8-12).
We have invested in a well-organised workshop to make your job easier. You will find it easy to settle in. We are a nice place to work, with many people who have been here for years and we do look after people well.
The majority of what we manufacture are hydraulic actuators for the oil and gas industry, but you don’t need any specialist knowledge. Just be willing to learn, and have some relevant experience in an engineering workshop, and we can teach you the rest. You will probably have experience as a fitter or assembler.
