Interim Financial Controller - Hospitality Sector - c. £550 per day Your new company I am currently working with a PLC Hospitality business that is looking for a Financial Controller to come in and support the finance team on a contract basis. They will be responsible for managing the finance team, statutory reporting, and overall responsibility for audit. Your new role Key responsibilities of this role are - Team management and development of the finance team, making sure they are continually mentored and developed Responsible for producing the groups half-yearly and yearly reporting, overseeing the production of the statutory accounts and responsible for preparing technical papers for the audit Responsible for preparation of internal reporting including management accounts, weekly reporting and presenting to wider business Oversee the budget process, help the finance team challenge the budget holders and present them to the Finance Director Produce the annual and interim financial results What you'll need to succeed Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) audit trained Experience working within a PLC business and exposure to PLC reporting Previous team management experience Excellent technical accounting skills and knowledge of IFRS Experience working for a multi-site business is advantegous What you'll get in return You will receive a competitive day rate, exposure working with a great business and opportunity to take the role further.
