What do we want?
We’re looking for a caring, organised and detail-driven Housekeeping Team Leader to sit at the heart of our housekeeping operation. In this hands-on role, you’ll support and guide the housekeeping team to deliver beautifully prepared bedrooms that exceed guest expectations. You’ll coordinate daily workloads across both hotels, check rooms to ensure exceptional standards, and work closely with senior housekeeping leaders and other departments to ensure a smooth guest journey. Flexibility is essential, as the role includes weekends and bank holidays.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Organising daily work tasks, including room allocations across both hotels
* Checking guest bedrooms after cleaning to ensure standards are consistently met
* Ensuring rooms are released within required timelines, supporting room attendants where needed
* Reporting maintenance issues through the correct processes
* Covering room attendant duties when required
* Supporting the porters and laundry team with daily operations
* Understanding and using the room booking system effectively
* Communicating clearly with senior housekeeping managers
* Relaying relevant information to other departments
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar housekeeping or team leader role
* Experience within a hotel or hospitality environment
* Good understanding of high cleanliness and presentation standards
