My client, one of Scotland's largest local authorities, is urgently seeking a Health & Safety Officer / CDM Officer to join their team on a contract basis.
Reporting directly to the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for a diverse Health & Safety strategy and provide a comprehensive advisory and support service on all work programmes and CDM matters.
* Implement, coordinate, monitor and report on Health & Safety matters across various contracts.
* Provide clients with pre‑construction information for domestic new build and refurbishment projects.
* Ensure sub‑contractors comply with current CDM regulations.
* Ensure appropriate management processes and controls are in place to monitor contracts by reviewing contractor H&S audits, HSE involvement or accidents on‑site.
Experience required includes:
* Health & Safety experience on construction sites.
* Demolition and new build experience.
* Principal Designer knowledge.
This is a hybrid working position with full‑time and part‑time options available. The contract will be for a minimum period of six months and is inside IR35.
