About the Role
We are seeking a fully qualified and experienced Approved Electrician to join our expanding team. Youll play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical installations across domestic commercial and light industrial projects with a strong focus on EV charge points and AC works for Solar PV systems.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious electrician who wants to be part of the renewable energy transition while working on diverse projects throughout the South East.

Key Responsibilities
* Install test and commission EV charge points (domestic & commercial)
* Carry out AC electrical works relating to Solar PV systems (inverter connection mains distribution system integration)
* Conduct periodic inspections testing and certification (EICs EICRs Minor Works)
* Diagnose and resolve faults across a variety of electrical systems
* Ensure compliance with IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
* Liaise with customers project managers and team members to ensure smooth delivery
* Complete job reports and certifications using electronic systems
Essential Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
* City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394 / 2395) Inspection & Testing
* ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician level)
* Demonstrated experience in domestic & commercial installations
* Proven EV charging installation experience (Alfen Autel Alpitronic etc.)
* Good knowledge of AC-side works for Solar PV
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong problem-solving organisational and communication skills
Desirable Skills
* City & Guilds 2919-01 (EV Charging Equipment Installation)
* Experience with battery storage systems
* Solar PV accreditation (MCS-related knowledge)
* Familiarity with smart energy systems & load balancing technologies
