This school is seeking a patient, enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant to join an inclusive and supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who need additional support in accessing learning and achieving their full potential. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as Learning Support Assistant:
* Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND, EAL or SEMH, in the classroom and through small group or 1:1 interventions.
* Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
* Helping students to develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits.
* Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching and SEN staff.
* Promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing in line with school policy.
Ideal Learning Support Assistant:
* Has experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable).
* Is calm, nurturing, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* Is flexible, proactive and able to respond to individual needs as Learning Support Assistant.
* Has strong literacy and numeracy skills (minimum GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths).
* Is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners.
