Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties
* Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
* Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and reminders efficiently
* Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
* Handle patient check-in and check-out processes accurately
* Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
* Process payments and insurance claims with precision
* Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary materials
* Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and data entry
* Coordinate with dental staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations
Experience
* Previous office experience or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
* Friendly demeanour with a professional attitude towards patient care and confidentiality
