Site Supervisor * Main Contractor * Teesside * Salary – £35,000 - £40,000 car allowance Lemon Drizzle Recruitment has been appointed to recruit a Site Supervisor for a main contractor based in Teesside. They predominately work in the healthcare sector, delivering refurbishment and new build projects up to 15m. You’ll be site based in Middlesbrough and will support the Project Manager and Site Manager on a design and build refurbishment project of an existing healthcare building. This will be an NEC 4 form of contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Site Supervisor to join a rapidly growing business. What you’ll be responsible for A Site Supervisor’s role is to oversee all construction workers on site and manage build quality. You will take ownership of reporting progress with defects using field view/view point, ensuring all work is documented and demonstrated to the client. * Oversee day to day operational duties of the project * Supervising labour, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing quality control * Ensure on-site safety through risk assessment and risk management * Promote a positive Health & Safety culture What’s in it for you? Salary will be competitive depending on experience ranging from £35k - £40k plus car allowance. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, private healthcare and company bonus. Who is this role ideal for? The ideal candidate will have site supervision experience and be excellent at monitoring build quality. Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred but commercial refurb experience will also be considered, ideally from working in a ‘live’ environment. * Good knowledge of construction, building regulations and legal guidelines. * Proficient in Field View/View point (or similar digital defect reporting software) * Excellent I.T skills * A strong communicator and able to build strong relationships with people on all levels * Well organised with exceptional timekeeping * Full UK driving licence * SSSTS/CSCS/First Aid certs What does the hiring process look like?
