Structural Engineer Salary & Benefits:
1. Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE

Structural Engineer Job Overview:
8. Inspect residential and commercial properties to diagnose structural defects and prepare live digital reports on-site
9. Specify remedial works and oversee reporting for building insurance claims (including subsidence, fire, and storm damage)
10. Liaise with insurers, contractors, and clients to ensure high-quality, timely service delivery
11. Engage with internal systems and contribute to business improvements through new ideas and innovation
12. Work across traditional and non-traditional construction types, including historic buildings
13. Report directly to the Associate Director and provide regular progress updates
Structural Engineer Job Requirements:
14. Several years' experience in building defect diagnosis and structural inspection (essential)
15. MIStructE or MICE preferred (not essential)
16. Experience with historic buildings and insurance claim reporting would be advantageous
17. Confident in working independently and managing own workload
18. Excellent communication and IT skills
19. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
20. Based in the Northwest with willingness to travel for inspections
