Teaching Assistant – Cardiff Primary School (Full-Time) Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday) Pay: £89.38 – £95 per day Start: ASAP (or next available start) Are you a caring, reliable Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a Cardiff primary school? We’re working with welcoming schools across Cardiff who need confident support staff to help pupils thrive in and out of the classroom. The role You’ll be supporting class teachers and pupils across the school day, helping to keep learning positive, structured and inclusive. Depending on the school, this may include: Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups (literacy/numeracy/interventions) Helping manage behaviour and maintain a calm learning environment Assisting with lesson activities, resources and classroom organisation Supporting playground duties and transitions throughout the day Building strong relationships with pupils and staff Requirements (essential) Right to work in the UK A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and wellbeing Compliance / checks Enhanced DBS and EWC registration are required — if you don’t have these yet, we can support you in getting them sorted. If you have lived or worked outside the UK for more than 6 months in the last 5 years, you will need an overseas criminal clearance check.
