We are looking for a dedicated Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join a dynamic Motor Vehicle department at a well-established Ofsted-rated 'Good' college in Berkshire. The Role As a Motor Vehicle Lecturer, you will: Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across Motor Vehicle Level 1-3 programmes. Inspire and engage learners through innovative teaching strategies. Support students’ academic and personal progress, maintaining high standards of discipline and pastoral care. Develop and review curriculum content to ensure industry relevance. Actively participate in departmental development and contribute to quality improvements. Maintain accurate records of student progress using the college’s electronic ILP system. Liaise with industry to ensure your teaching reflects current practices. About You We would love to hear from candidates with: A Level 3 qualification or above in Motor Vehicle or a closely related subject. Recent and relevant industry experience in motor vehicle technology. Experience delivering teaching or training (college or workplace settings). This could be supporting apprentices at your workplace for example. A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one within 3 years). TAQA / A1 / V1 awards (or willingness to work towards). A passion for student success and a commitment to safeguarding and equality. Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills (including Microsoft Office and electronic learning platforms). Desirable Experience of delivering apprenticeships and creating programmes aligned with awarding body requirements. Course leadership and curriculum development experience. Why Join This College?
