Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Compliance Associate, your responsibilities include:
1. Reviewing the latest product information according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cross-checking with relevant regulatory documentation.
2. Using Amazon-specific tools and systems to classify products, ensuring compliance for availability on Amazon.
3. Collaborating with managers and Process Experts to address deviations from SOPs and seeking guidance when needed.
4. Maintaining detailed records and utilizing reports to prioritize tasks and meet Quality, Productivity, and SLA targets.
5. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and collaborating with teams to automate reports and reduce manual effort.
6. Providing feedback on SOPs for continuous process refinement.
7. Participating in knowledge-sharing sessions and contributing expertise.
8. Supporting peers through mentorship and training as needed.
Required Skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (filtering, sorting, pivot tables, data validation, etc.).
* Basic understanding of SQL for querying and data retrieval.
* Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools.
* Attention to detail and analytical skills to identify patterns in data.
* Problem-solving skills using logic, creativity, and design thinking.
* Commitment to thorough investigation and research.
* Ability to interpret, critique, and communicate data effectively.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree.
* Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
* Japanese N1 (or equivalent) proficiency in verbal and written communication.
* English B2+ (or equivalent) proficiency in verbal and written communication.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Knowledge of consumer product compliance processes and regulations.
* Experience in regulatory compliance management with government agencies.
* 2+ years of experience in Business Process Outsourcing in domains like accounting, compliance, payment processing, IT, HR, or quality assurance.
* Advanced Excel skills (VBA).
* Knowledge of database querying (SQL).
* Experience as a quality auditor in retail, FMCG, or corporate settings.
* Experience with data analysis and decision support systems.
