We require a minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in a relevant engineering environment. We require experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, system architecture and design, verification and validation, and product development processes. We require a strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering environments. We require technical expertise in at least one engineering discipline, with a broad appreciation of others. We require excellent communication and technical documentation skills. We require sole British nationality and the ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC). We capture, analyse, and manage technical requirements across multiple engineering disciplines. We define system architectures and technical solutions that meet customer and programme requirements. We work closely with hardware, software, FPGA, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure coherent system design. We support product development from initial concept through design, integration, verification, and validation. We collaborate with project managers to ensure successful delivery against cost, schedule, and performance objectives. We participate in customer discussions to clarify requirements and ensure solutions meet operational needs. We produce clear and concise technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle. We provide technical support for bids, proposals, and future business opportunities.
