Role Overview
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS). We are seeking an Admin Assistant to join our team at Lochalsh Health Centre in Kyle of Lochalsh, working primarily at the main reception. The position is permanent and includes 20 hours per week, with opportunities to cover in Broadford and Portree Hospitals on occasion.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide vital admin support to the various teams working at and visiting the health centre.
* Manage front‑end reception duties and coordinate communications.
* Assist with administrative tasks across the centre and cover other admin areas as required.
Qualifications
* Proactive, dynamic, and able to work independently.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills; prior administrative experience is a preference but not essential.
* Full training and support will be provided upon appointment.
Benefits
* Effective from 1st April 2026: the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours; part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rated basis.
* Hourly rate will be increased to keep pay unaffected.
* Potential for covering in other hospitals provides variety and professional development.
