Responsibilities
* Maintenance — Undertaking all assigned maintenance activities as assigned by the Maintenance Team Leader and Planning Manager in accordance with WAML CAA & EASA 145 maintenance level approval as recorded within the latest revision of the company Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE). Perform engine disassembly with the relevant Engine Shop Manuals.
* Remain fully conversant and up to date with airworthiness and regulatory standards and requirements relating to maintenance activities conducted at WAML.
* Navigate and find relevant data within OEM manuals (EMM, AMM, PPBUM, IPC, SPM); work often as a lone worker and interpret manual data accurately.
* Carry out maintenance activities per OEM manual requirements using specified tooling/alternative tooling; notify the Maintenance Team Leader of any maintenance/documentation errors as required under EASA & CAA regulatory Mandatory Occurrence Reporting CAP382 procedures.
* Understand and apply company Quality Standards (AS9110, CAA145, EASA145, FAR145) as defined within the MOE and FAA Supplement document, applicable to maintenance activities.
* Use workshop tools and equipment correctly, including pre-use and periodic checks.
* Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Maintain effective communication and collaboration with WERC UK Ltd Management and other departments; participate in regular meetings and provide feedback on schedules and progress.
* Occasionally travel for maintenance activities and training; participate in on-call rota to cover out-of-hours activities.
Qualifications
* A qualified aero engine/airframe technician with at least 5 years of relevant experience within an aviation maintenance environment.
* Experience in maintaining and inspecting engine types such as CFM series, V2500, LEAP, and / or larger GE90 and Rolls Royce Trent variant engines.
* Ability to be an organized, articulate, and motivated professional with the ability to demonstrate key skills required for a maintenance environment.
* Willingness to travel off-site/overseas for maintenance activities and training; willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
