We are currently looking to recruit a Sales Director for STILL UK. An integral part of the overall STILL UK Senior Leadership Team with responsibility to provide engaging leadership to develop & grow NTS with full P&L & Market Share responsibility and set the strategy & direction for all Sales Channels aligned to achieve all company goals We offer: The Sales Director is required to: Provide visible & engaging leadership to develop & grow NTS with full P&L & Market Share responsibility Proactively & collaboratively set the strategy & direction for all Sales Channels aligned to achieve all company goals Be accountable for the HSQE standards relevant to the areas of responsibility including customer satisfaction levels Drive collaboration across KION ITS, (UK & EMEA wide), Supporting Functions for mutual success The above to be achieved by being responsible for the below activities, To determine and formalise targets for the sales team and ensure accurate business forecasting and robust performance management processes in place To build and foster strong customer relationships ensuring that regular relevant customer contact is carried out within the team and appropriate escalations are in place Monitor and develop action plans to deliver improvement in the external customer satisfaction metrics To ensure all STILL Group sales tools are utilised appropriately and resulting management information reviewed and actions in place for continuous improvement To assist with the launch of new products & services into the market ensuring the sales division are trained as appropriate with the key data Be an active link between the frontline and sales support office, to ensure processes, completeness, accuracy, timeliness, turnaround of order – delivery & cash and customer satisfaction is optimised Responsible for all Human Resource requirements within the team, working at all times in conjunction with the UK HR team To be a member of the STILL UK Senior Leadership Team and contribute to ensure Company Goals & Objectives both short & long term are acheived Tasks and Qualifications: To deliver in the role effectively you need to be actively contributing towards the overall leadership of the business by engaging positively and supportively with colleagues in other business streams and putting the overall success of the business ahead of any departmental priorities. Ideally you will have; Experience of Senior Sales Leadership and Management Enable to develop a positive, supportive and professional working culture with a focus on continuous improvement Robust commercial judgement including the use of 3rd party suppliers (cross hire), as well commercial review on truck level Personally able to engage with customer complaints as required Ensuring full adherence to Company policies and procedures including the KION Code of Compliance You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have technical understanding, and you will need to have good IT/systems skills (particularly SAP and Excel) Experience in and comprehension of the Materials Handling Industry This role offers a competitive salary, company bonus (paid annually) and a company car
