New Gorbals Housing Association is a dynamic community-controlled organisation. We own and manage over 2,600 homes for rent and factor over 1,900 owners’ homes. We are committed to the sustained physical, social and economic regeneration of Gorbals.
We are looking to fill the following post (39 hours per week) for a permanent position:
Landscape & Estates Services Operative x 2 (temporary – 6 months)
(£14.15 per hour)
We are looking for two hard working individuals who will deliver our Landscaping and Estate Services on the ground.
You will have relevant experience in the direct operation of grass cutting, herbicide application, pruning and general duties which covers bulk and litter collections
You will be committed to ensuring the delivery of safe working practices and be able to plan, organise and deliver your daily workload effectively.
We are looking for two team players who can work flexibly and contribute positively towards the continuous improvement of our Landscaping and Estates Services.
Certificates in PA1 & PA6 spraying & Chainsaw operation would be an advantage as would holding a driving licence with B+E entitlement (Trailer Licence).
Overall, you will have sound communication skills and be able to demonstrate a positive approach and commitment to delivery of the Association’s key objectives.
