Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Financial Crime Analytics and Technology Manager to join us. This role is crucial in the creation and ongoing development of our first-line financial crime team. You will be the lead and subject matter expert for all the team’s analytical and technology-based responsibilities.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing the technical aspects of financial crime controls and tools, including maintaining screening filters, managing due diligence workflows, and supporting new tools and controls implementation.
* Reviewing and enhancing end-to-end processes for financial crime controls to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
* Collaborating with the team and stakeholders to develop and produce management information.
* Serving as the point of contact for data and technology issues within the Group.
* Performing data analysis and testing to evaluate control effectiveness and identify improvements.
* Working with the wider team on various initiatives.
* Managing and developing the team according to company policies to meet business objectives.
* Ensuring statutory and regulatory reporting compliance, including escalation of issues to senior management.
Who we’re looking for:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, XML, and visualization tools.
* Extensive experience in financial crime, analytics, or technology roles within financial services.
* Knowledge of products/sectors like insurance, investment management, pensions, annuities, etc.
* Understanding of non-UK financial crime regulations including sanctions, AML/CTF, fraud, insider dealing, and market abuse.
* Strong knowledge of financial crime risks and controls.
* Experience in producing financial crime reports and management information.
* Excellent communication skills for delivering reports and presentations.
* High attention to detail and ability to work independently and in teams.
