Capture & Business Development Business Operations Analyst

Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is currently looking for a mid-level or experienced Capture & Business Development Business Operations Analyst to work within the Business Development function in Bristol, UK.
A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration; this position will work with many varied internal stakeholders to ensure the effective and efficient running of the Capture & Business Development function and provide aligned data for BDUK and the wider Boeing enterprise.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Manage activities, tools and processes across the Capture & Business Development function.
2. Develop integrated project and process plans, implements policies and procedures.
3. Collate metrics and campaign updates for Capture & Business Development leadership and wider Boeing stakeholders
4. Document, implement and improve processes for developing and acquiring new business
5. Supports the identification of resources required for projects and processes, and lead process improvements
6. Lead and train process users in process applications and creates products such as training programs, documented processes and procedures, reports and sales documents
7. Coaches teams on how to use the templates and guidelines for the determination of probability of program go and win
8. Work closely with Capture & Business Development teams, program and functional management, information system, computing support organizations and training providers in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness of Business Development function
Key responsibilities:
9. Provide support to the Head of Capture and the Business Development Senior Managers for the timely and accurate reporting of Capture & BD activities, milestones and metrics
10. Manage the agenda, inputs and outputs of regular Capture and Business Development meetings
11. Support Sales Leads and Capture Team Leads to organise and facilitate campaign workshops and reviews
12. Manage inputs and updates to the Sales Pipeline by entering campaign information into the system in a timely manner for use in improving customer relations and strategic and tactical decision-making.
13. Provide training to stakeholders across BDUK on the use of the Sales Pipeline, Customer Stakeholder Matrix and other key Business Development processes
14. Support proposal management when needed
The selected candidate will also be required to work onsite in the Bristol office for three days per week.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
15. IT literate – proficient in the use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, search engines, web analytics and business research tools.
16. Basic data quality and management standards and processes
17. Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
18. Be able to work well as part of a team or as an individual contributor
19. Good communication skills – the ability to train Business Development team members on data management and the use of the Customer Relation Management tool
20. Enthusiastic, proactive, determined, team focused
21. Use initiative and take responsibility
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
22. Advanced use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
23. Knowledge of the customer relationship management (CRM) tools and techniques
24. Knowledge of management reporting standards and processes
25. The ability to develop presentations of complex data to highlight important features which impact on the business
