Job Title: Stores Operative
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Location: Abingdon
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm (40 Hours)
Hourly Rate:£17.30ph - £18.27ph
Responsibilities of the Stores Operative:
* Keep the goods in/out area organised, tidy, and running smoothly,
* Handle all goods-in to the building, conducting inspections where required and ensuring they are delivered to the right person or department in a timely manner
* Pack products according to the packing specification ensuring any relevant paperwork is updated
* Arrange shipments, including preparing necessary paperwork, delivery notes and labelling
* Monitor and maintain the inventory in the goods-out area
* Working closely with engineers
Essentials for the Stores Operative:
* Proven experience in a logistics or warehousing role.
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Willingness to support Engineering and Operations staff
* Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations in logistics operations.
Desirable for the Stores Operative:
