Position: Casino Compliance Officer

Location: Milton Keynes Casino

Hours Per Week: 40

Salary: £35,000

About you:

We are looking for and experienced casino manager with the following:

* Practical knowledge of the UK compliance and regulatory environment to relevant businesses (Gambling Act 2005, Licensing Act 2003, Money Laundering Regulations 2007, General Data Protection Regulations 2018 & marketing regulations).
* Experience with AML/KYC/Customer Due Diligence processes.
* Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with attention to detail and ability to quickly review and assess information
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of dealing with managers and staff at all levels of seniority.
* Good influencing skills.
* Enthusiasm and flexibility.
* Good presentation skills including use of Powerpoint and Excel
* High level of integrity and confidentiality

Desirable

* Previous experience in a UK land-based casino environment
* Familiarity with Safer Gambling tools and technologies.

Duties include but not limited to:

* Supporting the casino team in ensuring they comply with all relevant AML laws and regulations.
* Supporting the policies, procedures and training that have been signed off by Senior Compliance.
* Supporting the Compliance Manager in the completion of key reports
* Utilising information from 3rd party suppliers (Acuris, GBG) and transferring data to Neon.
* Work alongside the casino team to uphold the licensing objectives of the UK Gambling Act 2005, LCCP, and AML/CTF regulations.
* Support employee training on AML, responsible gambling, and data protection compliance.
* Support the Compliance Manager in ensuring regulation and internal policy flow and are demonstrated throughout the business.
* Maintain accurate records and trackers of compliance activities
* Maintain accurate trackers of ‘At Risk’ groups.
* Be a key point of contact between Casino floor and HO functions.
* Support the Compliance Manager in preparing for regulatory inspections and license reviews.
* To attend and conduct meetings as and when required.
* To respond positively, promptly and appropriately to all internal and external customer requests.
* Responsible for understanding and ensuring compliance with internal Responsible Gambling policies and UK Gambling Commission Licence Codes of Conduct and Practice (LCCP)
* To promote awareness of Responsible Gambling strategies and procedures.
* To be proactive in safeguarding our customers and the business by ensuring that standards of compliance both internally and externally are delivered to the highest level and opportunities to improve are identified to support the business objectives.
