Overview
We are hiring Tesco Colleagues. The rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.
The availability windows show the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility; if your available times are close to, but not exactly, the advertised times, we’d still love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
* Be a colleague in one of our stores and help to serve shoppers better every day.
* Meet great people, learn new things, and be part of a specialist, diverse team where everyone is welcome.
* Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Apply training to work safely, effectively, and to serve customers brilliantly.
* Make decisions that are right for customers and deliver store routines that meet needs at the right time.
* Take part in seasonal, community and charity events to create a great inclusive atmosphere.
* Understand store performance, and contribute to driving service, sales, waste reduction, and profit.
* Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
* Be yourself, live our values, make everyone feel welcome, and follow policies.
* Assist with deliveries into the store when required.
