Contracts Manager – Refurbishment Location: Yeadon, Leeds Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE excellent benefits We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established refurbishment and fit-out specialist delivering high-quality projects across the commercial and public sectors. The business provides an end-to-end service, from initial design through to full installation. This position offers a blend of commercial oversight and practical Quantity Surveying responsibilities. You’ll take ownership of contract management and cost control across multiple refurbishment projects, ensuring margins are protected and projects remain commercially sound from tender stage through to final account. The Role * Oversee the commercial management of refurbishment contracts under JCT and bespoke company terms * Ensure contracts are administered correctly, protecting entitlement and mitigating risk * Provide commercial input at pre-construction stage, supporting tenders and bid submissions * Review tender allowances, margins, exclusions and risk to ensure alignment with delivery plans * Establish and manage project budgets, tracking costs against forecasts * Produce regular commercial reports, including margin and gross profit forecasts * Prepare valuations, applications for payment and subcontractor assessments * Manage variations and change control, ensuring accurate valuation and margin protection * Support live projects with hands-on QS duties to ensure delivery within agreed commercial parameters About You * Experience in a Contracts Manager or Quantity Surveyor role within construction * Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts * Background in refurbishment projects * Confident managing cost control, valuations and variations * Experience using construction management software/systems * Involvement in tender and bid support * Highly organised, commercially astute and solution-focused For more information or to apply, please contact Beth at Unity Resourcing or submit your CV via the link provided
