Overview
Multi Skilled Facilities Engineer / Electrical Bias role at OCS. This position supports line management in the delivery of FM contracts through practical implementation of the management system and the electrician\'s knowledge.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Take an active role in the management of all quality, environmental and health & safety issues on the site for which the post holder is responsible in compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
* Ensure Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance are carried out to the correct specification with regards to both frequency and quality.
* Organise and manage the mechanical and electrical maintenance schedule in compliance with current legislation and as detailed in the CAFM system.
* Organise and manage external maintenance contractors to ensure mechanical, electrical, and building fabric maintenance schedules are carried out in accordance with current legislation and as detailed in the CAFM system.
* Client satisfaction and the quality of service provided.
* Identify and implement innovations to improve service delivery.
* Ensure continuity of systems in a manner that fully complies with all legal, qualitative, health, safety and environmental standards and other relevant guidance.
* Ensure tools, equipment and materials are available as required to deliver the service effectively.
* Assist with Sub-Contractor management and monitoring.
* Demonstrate, review and monitor compliance to meet client expectations and company quality goals, including BS EN ISO 9001:2015.
* Ensure availability of and participate in a 24 hour per day, 365 days per year emergency on-call service as required.
* Be prepared to work overtime where required to support the contract.
* Take ownership of facilities-related activities on FES contracted sites and liaise with contractors including cleaners, grounds maintenance, electrical, mechanical, etc.
* Assist Supervisor with project planning.
* Roles may be adjusted as needed; the post holder may support other posts according to workload and patterns of working.
* This is a summary of main duties and will be reviewed periodically with objectives set by the Line Manager.
Skills & Knowledge
* Formal technical education in Mechanical/electrical discipline.
* A minimum of 5 years post-training or fully indentured Electrical Craft Apprenticeship (C&G 2360/1&2 or similar).
* A Full driving license.
* Understanding of asset management principles and maintenance techniques.
* Experience of operating a management system (e.g., ISO 9001:2000/2008/2015, ISO 14001, ISO 18001).
* Strong Health & Safety knowledge including Risk Assessment, COSHH, etc.
* Pro-active attitude and excellent planning skills.
* Good IT/computer skills and excellent communication (verbal and written).
* Ability to build relationships with clients and exceed customer expectations.
* Approachable demeanour and commitment to teamwork.
* Consistently works to a high standard and seeks to improve processes to meet business needs.
* High levels of self-motivation, technical inquisitiveness, enthusiasm and commitment.
* Track record of delivering similar roles and commitment to ongoing professional development; IOSH Managing Safety or similar is useful.
