An excellent opportunity for an after-hours Vet Surgeon to join a progressive and collaborative team. This role offers ECC involvement with time to work cases up fully and downtime, in a practice that supports clinical freedom and offers potential for a certificate with support.

Responsibilities
 * Work as part of a busy team in a 24-hour emergency care hospital with strong patient care and case follow-through.
 * Perform a large range of operations, from routine neutering to exploratory laparotomies and orthopedic procedures.
 * Work up and manage all in-patients and see all emergencies from our own clinic.
 * Contribute to high standards of service and ensure clinical protocols are delivered and maintained.
Qualifications
 * Confident Vet Surgeon with an ECC interest who enjoys working as part of a busy team.
 * Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high standards of patient care.
About the Team & Environment
The 608 Vets team is well-established with a great reputation and emphasizes compassionate care and service. The team includes 16 Vets, 30 nursing and 10 admin associates, supported by the Clinical Director, 2 Head Vets, a Clinical Nursing Manager and Practice Manager. 6 Vets are currently pursuing certificates in surgery, internal medicine and exotics. You will report to the Head Vet and work from our main 24-hour hospital. There are bedrooms for resting for overnight staff.
