The role
Technical integration analyst will work with the Snaplogic Product owner and Tech Dev Lead as part of the Integration Team to manage and deliver the day to day support for the Group Technology enterprise integration platforms (Oracle PaaS & Snaplogic).
The role will entail but not be limited to:
Be part of the team responsible for day to day management of Snaplogic platform, monitoring and carrying out daily checks to ensure availability and successful completion of scheduled integrations.
Liaise with business stakeholders and technical teams to resolve integration errors.
Provide support to the outsourced provider in the day to management of Oracle Integrations within the Oracle PaaS layer
Perform regular reviews of batch schedules, continuously seeking to improve run times, conducting performance tuning where necessary
Support infrastructure and Application release change activities to ensure integrity of integration and PaaS platforms
Identify automation opportunities and work with relevant Service Leads to deliver through continuous improvement initiatives.
Accept and translate business requirements from service leads to deliver new integrations or improve existing integrations.
Support integrations and Paas components among various enterprise systems and 3rd parties via event handling and API, including but not limited to 3rd party applications, Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM, Identity and Access Management, user provisioning, single sign-on, email.
Follow best practices for integrations with standard enterprise systems liaising with ITV TDA
Maintain technical knowledge base documents ensuring all components are logged within code repositories e.g Github and CMDB
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
Strong understanding of financial and HR concepts and how they are encapsulated in the data flowing between systems, with the ideal candidate having experience in managing and developing Finance and HR integrations
iPaaS development experience with any leading iPaaS platforms such as (Preferred) Snaplogic, Dell Boomi, Workato or Informatica
A good understanding of and experience with integration standards and transports including SFTP, SOAP/REST APIs, XML, and JSON
A good understanding of database concepts and fluency in SQL
Experience Supporting, improving, and fixing integration solutions using a wide variety of data sources and targets.
Experience of working with technical resources from 3rd party providers and outsourced offshore teams.
Understanding of errors and failures (both small and major) that can happen and how to progress them
Qualifications (Desirable)
Oracle Cloud ERP certification
ITIL
