About The Role
Strathcarron Hospice provides Specialist Palliative Care to patients who have complex symptoms associated with any type of life-limiting illness and also offering support to families/carers. As a Bank Occupational Therapist your role is vital for our rehabilitative and multi-professional approach which aims to enable patients to achieve and maintain the highest possible quality of life, this can be in peoples own homes or in the Hospice In-Patient Unit.
About You
We are seeking a motivated and flexible Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health Professionals team on a Bank basis. You will be HCPC-registered and bring experience from a range of clinical settings. Previous involvement in cancer care or palliative services would be advantageous.
You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. A commitment to person-centred care, creative problem-solving, and collaborative working is essential.
You will need access to a vehicle which will allow you to travel as required.
The post is subject to a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check by Disclosure Scotland.
