They are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and reflective Primary Teacher, for a maternity post, to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is passionate about making a positive difference in children’s lives.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners. You will work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure that every pupil achieves their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering creative, challenging, and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
* Using a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform teaching
* Differentiating learning to meet the diverse needs of pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
* Creating a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
* Maintaining high standards of behaviour and promoting positive attitudes to learning
* Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to year group and whole-school initiatives
* Communicating effectively with parents and carers
* Upholding the school’s safeguarding policies and procedures
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it
* Has a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning in the primary phase
* Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical practice
* Is committed to inclusive education and high expectations for all pupils
* Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Is reflective, resilient, and eager to develop professionally
* Is able to contribute positively to the wider life of the school
