Our Brand Marketing Manager – Another Place role: Reporting to our Director of Sales and Marketing, you’ll convey our Another Place brand across media, digital marketing, PR and guest communications. You’ll be involved in every part of our guest journey from initial interest and booking to post-stay, using both traditional and digital marketing methods. Working within the wider Marketing team, you’ll guide and execute our marketing and PR strategy for our Another Place hotels – Another Place, The Lake on the beautiful shores of Ullswater in The Lake District, and Another Place, The Machrie situated on the remote Inner Hebridean island of Islay. This full-time role is offered on a fixed-term, nine-month contract, with predominantly office-based working hours. What you’ll be responsible for: Crafting data-driven and inspired content, aligned with our wider business goals and initiatives. Delivering meaningful, purposeful, and memorable content, fostering a meaningful ‘on brand’ relationship with our target audience. Attend weekly revenue meetings to understand the key business focuses and challenges, and plan accordingly. Devising sales and marketing campaigns to achieve budgeted room, restaurant, and sports revenues. Driving sales and building strong relationships with our varied communities. Maintaining repeat guests and ensuring brand consistency and cohesion across both traditional and digital channels. Managing content production, liaising with third parties including writers, photographers, and artists (including internal team). Responding to changing business needs and adopting new technologies. Conveying marketing communications through owned media (websites, blogs, newsletters, and social channels), PR, and guest communication. Considerate of the full guest journey, ensuring to promote our brand pillars and maximise potential. Providing data-driven solutions through multimedia channels and creative concepts. Developing team relationships across our businesses. You’ll also: Work closely with our events team, shaping our promotional events calendar and liaising with organisers and sponsors accordingly. Plan and execute reactive campaigns for seasonal offers, last minute activity and non-resident guests, as well as working with partners on content and competitions. Liaise as required with relevant publications (print and online) to place advertising. Collaborate with our copywriting team to produce hero pieces of content, including newsletters. Assist with marketing activity relating to our sponsorship agreements. Align your marketing strategies with our content plan and calendar, ensuring effective and timely distribution and delivery. Work with our PR agency to deliver our campaigns in line with our business strategy, content calendar and key sales focuses. Work with our PR agency to achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage from relevant journalists, bloggers and influencers. Support our Website Manager to ensure our websites are current and optimised for mobile use and search engines. Assist with our social media content production (as needed) and monitoring associated platforms daily. Adhere to company GDPR procedure at all times. Represent our Another Place brand and be an ambassador for our active relaxation concept. What you’ll be sharing with us: Strong marketing and sales experience to a high level Ability to keep up to date with digital trends, with the confidence to seize relevant opportunities Knowledge of integrated marketing communication and project management tools (MailChimp, Revinate, Trello), as well as GA4 reporting Ability to monitor, analyse and report on all marketing activity and KPIs Familiarity with Google and webmaster tools, social media platforms, and scheduling or monitoring tools, with Sprout Social considered a bonus 4 years of experience within a similar Marketing Manager role, executing marketing budget and strategy.
