Health Care Support Worker
Band 3 - £24,625 - £25,674
18.75 hours per week
Permanent
We are offering an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Band 3 Health Care Support Worker within the Locala TB service covering North and South Kirklees.
The role involves working in both clinical settings and the community. While primarily based in North Kirklees, there may be times when work in the Huddersfield area is required.
Tuberculosis (TB) is a curable infectious disease. Our specialist service cares for both children and adults across Kirklees, providing high standards of care to diverse cultures for patients with active and latent TB.
The service runs weekly TB screening clinics for newcomers from high-prevalence countries and manages patients with active TB and their families.
Our mission is to help vulnerable communities reach their potential and live well, free from TB, by providing high-quality care at the right time and place, working closely with stakeholders including UKHSA, Kirklees Public Health, and other support agencies.
We seek an experienced health care support worker eager to work in a unique and varied nursing environment as part of our friendly team.
