Join our growing Hardware Pre‑sales team and play a key role in enabling reseller success across Dell’s market‑leading infrastructure portfolio. This is an account‑aligned, inside pre‑sales role focused on Dell infrastructure including servers, storage, networking and data protection. You’ll own around 20 named partner accounts, while also supporting the broader market with technical configurations and quoting. Working closely with Sales, Product Managers and Dell, you’ll build strong phone‑based relationships, act as a trusted technical advisor, and contribute directly to account growth through enablement, roadmap updates and accurate, timely solutions. You’ll report to the Pre‑sales Team Leader and be based in Sydney (hybrid), with occasional local or interstate travel. What You'll be Doing In this role, you will: Build strong, trusted relationships with reseller partners, primarily over the phone Deliver outstanding technical pre‑sales support to drive growth across your named accounts Provide 1:1 technical enablement, solution guidance and Dell product roadmap updates Design end‑to‑end bill‑of‑materials solutions across servers, storage, networking and data protection Produce accurate configurations and quotes using Dell configurator tools Work with Dell to secure bid pricing and special pricing requests Act as the primary technical point of contact for your partner accounts via phone, email and Teams Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasting and CRM records Participate in weekly cadence calls and submit regular territory forecasts Collaborate with Product Managers and Sales on forecasting, stock planning and technical enquiries Stay current on Dell product releases, EOL timelines and competitive positioning Proactively share Dell updates, promotions and marketing activity with partners Identify opportunities to expand Dell infrastructure adoption within existing accounts Engage in ongoing self‑development through Dell training and technical resources Represent the business professionally with resellers and Dell at all times Attend partner and Dell events, training and social activities (occasionally outside business hours) Skills And Experiences What We're Looking For You’ll bring a combination of technical aptitude, strong communication skills and a genuine interest in enterprise infrastructure.
