Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary SchoolsLocation: Hyde, Greater Manchester Salary: £90–£100 per day (depending on experience) Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term / Day-to-day Supply Start Date: October Half-term About the Role: Axcis Education is currently recruiting experienced and qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Greater Manchester. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about making a difference in children’s education and development — both inside and outside of the classroom. You will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide 1:1 and small group support, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive. This role may include working with children who have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social, emotional and mental health challenges. Your Responsibilities Will Include: • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils, including those with SEND. • Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management. • Supporting learning through play and structured activities both inside and outside the classroom. • Encouraging children’s social and emotional development in line with school policies. • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. • Liaising with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support pupils’ progress. Requirements: • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). • Experience working in a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1, or KS2). • Experience supporting children with SEND (desirable but not essential). • A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners. • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
