About the Role
We are seeking a highly professional, experienced, and client-focused Catering General Manager to lead the Hospitality & Events operations at a prestigious corporate site in the City.
This is a leadership role responsible for the seamless delivery of five-star guest experiences, the operational oversight of catering and events, and the effective management of a small but dedicated front-of-house team.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring premium service delivery, flawless execution of high-profile events, and exceptional client engagement. While client services form an important part of the position, the core responsibility lies in managing end-to-end hospitality and event operations with excellence and precision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage all aspects of Hospitality & Events operations, ensuring service excellence and efficiency.
2. Building and maintain trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
3. Oversee premium catering, meeting room coordination, and high-level event delivery.
4. Manage team performance, including scheduling, training, and development.
5. Drive continuous service enhancements to elevate guest experiences.
6. Ensure all services aligns with the brand and client standards with professionalism, innovation, and service excellence.
Ideal Candidate Profile
7. Proven experience in managing hospitality and events operations within a corporate setting / contract catering.
8. Demonstrated ability to lead & develop small teams with a focus on quality & service culture.
9. Exceptional interpersonal and client management skills, with a proactive and consultative approach.
10. Strong organisational & administrative capabilities, including resource planning and event coordination.
11. Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written.
12. Confident and professional presence, with excellent personal presentation.
13. Results-driven, with a passion for exceeding expectations and delivering luxury-level guest experiences.
