Datasmoothie is a data analysis solution designed specifically for market research. It is part of the Global Data Management Tower within Ipsos, offering an all-in-one solution that helps users create and manage their data pipelines, automating data processing and analysis tasks.
This is a leadership role within the team building Promptly, our revolutionary AI agent platform transforming market research. You will be at the forefront of innovation, shaping a product that enables researchers to analyze complex survey data instantly using natural language.
As a senior Python developer, you will lead architecture and backend development, taking ownership of key features from concept to deployment. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing new AI-powered analysis tools, refining agent logic and orchestration, and integrating Promptly with Ipsos infrastructure. You will also shape the technical roadmap, optimize performance and caching, and mentor junior developers through code reviews and support.
About you:
Essential skills:
* Professional Python experience, including deep knowledge of FastAPI and async workflows.
* Proven ability to own features, lead development, and support junior engineers.
* A passion for coding, demonstrated by personal projects or tools.
* Experience leading architecture and development in a Linux environment.
* Strong experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot) and enthusiasm for new AI technologies.
* Ability to contribute to architecture decisions and product roadmap.
* Understanding of LLM-powered applications, agents, tools, and prompt engineering.
* Experience with agent frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
* Familiarity with cloud-native systems, especially Google Cloud Platform (Firestore, GCS).
* Exposure to survey research tools or statistical packages.
* Bonus: knowledge of maths, stats, or calculus.
