Are you a registered nurse or a newly qualified nurse?
Come and join our friendly, lively team at Wimborne Hospital, Hanham Ward, for the opportunity to develop your skills, expand your knowledge, and make a real difference in your patients' lives and abilities.
The hospital has various departments with different patient groups, including Minor Injuries, Outpatients, Radiology Imaging, and Day Surgery. This role is based on Hanham Ward, a 21-bed nurse-led unit, with patient needs ranging from post-fracture rehabilitation and medical diagnoses to palliative care, supported by a local doctor three days a week and our ANP five days a week.
Our ward team comprises members from diverse backgrounds with varied interests and specialties. We support students and newly qualified nurses to achieve their potential. We are an inclusive, active team that enjoys days out and has a lively chat group. The team working on Hanham Ward is among the kindest and most caring in the NHS today.
We welcome applications from newly qualified nurses and provide a comprehensive, fully supported Preceptorship Programme for new healthcare professionals.
We encourage you to contact the ward manager to discuss the role in more detail and to arrange an informal visit to see the hospital, the team, and the ward.
