English Teacher – SEN School | Long-Term Role | Potential to Go Permanent
Location: Vauxhall
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30pm/4:00 PM
Contract: Long-term (with potential to become permanent for the right candidate)
We are working closely with a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school who are looking for an experienced and passionate English Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. For the right candidate, there is strong potential for the role to become permanent.
About the Role:
You’ll be teaching English to students with a range of additional learning needs. The role involves planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons to support students in developing both their academic skills and confidence. You’ll be working alongside a supportive team including SEN specialists, teaching assistants, and therapists.
This role is ideal for someone who:

3. Can deliver tailored English lessons to meet individual student needs
4. Brings a creative and positive approach to the classroom
Requirements:
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
6. Experience teaching in UK schools – essential
7. Experience in SEN settings – highly desirable (but strong mainstream teachers with a genuine interest in SEN will also be considered)
8. Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
9. Available full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
