Overview
My established client is a leading law firm based in York. They have grown considerably over the last few years and are looking for a Legal Assistant/Secretary to join their firm. Training will be given where necessary, but some prior office working exposure is essential and legal experience is desirable.
Responsibilities
* Audio and non-audio dictation
* Providing secretarial and administrative support to the commercial property fee earners
* Daily filing
* Setting up new files and organising closure of completed files
* Requesting property searches/land registry searches
* Deal with client/third party queries
Qualifications
* The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have strong organisational skills and good IT knowledge. You will be a team player with a good sense of humour and work ethic and be able to organise and prioritise work.
Role details
* The role can be full or part time. Salary will be dependent upon hours worked and experience.
