Job Description
Avery Healthcare supports the people who care for our residents and celebrates their dedication. As a Care Assistant at Hinckley House Care Home in Leicester you will deliver high‑standard personal care, support residents’ independence, dignity and respect, and actively contribute to the care team.
* Assisting residents in all personal hygiene tasks to ensure optimum independence, dignity and respect.
* Recognising clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls and signs of infection, and escalating any identified risks promptly.
* Acting courteously toward residents and visitors, respecting each resident’s dignity and individuality.
* Practising safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
About You
* Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Show initiative and respect toward residents and other people in the home.
* Be efficient and capable of following reasonable instructions from team members.
* Be adaptable and flexible, able to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
* Live the values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do.
* No prior experience is required; comprehensive induction and training will be provided.
Requirements & Conditions
* DBS Disclosure check – the cost will be met by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
