* Security clearance: Must have or be able to obtain security clearance eligibility to access UK Ministry of Defence establishments, working within ITAR and Export Control restrictions.
* Location: Brize Norton, Carterton, Oxfordshire.
* Type: Full time.
* Hours: 35 hours per week, 5‑5‑4 shift rotation, 0700‑1900 on weekdays.

This contract provides continuous 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year service to the Royal Air Force, ensuring the airworthiness of their fleet of aircraft.

How You Will Contribute To The Team

* Liaise and support base maintenance: serve as the central point of contact for the base maintenance organisation, providing engineering and technical support, and overseeing the preparation and issue of the work pack summary.
* Manage scope of work changes: react to evolving maintenance needs by facilitating the addition or removal of tasks, documenting, approving and justifying changes to the customer.
* Resolve technical/emergent defects: identify and action alternative solutions for emergent defects, raise technical queries and provide engineering support to resolve maintenance issues.
* Oversee aircraft hand‑over/hand‑back: manage the handover and hand‑back of aircraft between Part‑145 organisations, ensuring correct preparation before and configuration/route to green after the input.
* Monitor progress and report: review progress of the maintenance input, proactively identify delays, and submit detailed reports on causes, solutions and performance against KPIs to key stakeholders.
* Manage commercial and cost: act as a focal point for contract commercial support and escalated cost requirements, carrying out a cost‑benefit assessment to approve extra work.


About You

* Process management: proven background in managing complex technical processes between Part‑145, CAMO and external service providers.
* Technical knowledge: ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical data, with a working knowledge of aircraft maintenance, quality systems, airworthiness requirements and EHS procedures.
* Planning: knowledge and understanding of planning impacts and leverages through operational planning experience or industrial project management, including commercial considerations.
