Our client operates the city’s waterfront event campus — the interconnected M&S Bank Arena and Exhibition Centre Liverpool — as well as Ticket Quarter and the Pullman Liverpool Hotel. They host a wide range of national and international events and seek a Venue Logistics Operative to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
About The Role
Main duties include:
* Set up and de-rig allocated rooms and areas, including changeovers for alternative use, to meet specified timeframes.
* Facilitate the correct storage of equipment and furniture; keep storerooms clean and report any defects immediately.
* Undertake light maintenance and cleaning duties as instructed by the Venue Logistics Manager.
* Support the Senior Venue Logistic Operative to undertake basic repair and maintenance on equipment.
* Assist production companies, clients and service partners with load-ins, load-outs, and deliveries using appropriate equipment ( forklift trucks, pallet trucks, trolleys) where necessary.
* Assist with build-ups and break downs.
* Perform general maintenance duties using MEWPs where required (trained and licensed personnel only).
* Fulfil the porter role as needed.
* Assist the Senior Venue Logistics Operative and Venue Logistics Manager to meet client needs.
