The Role
As the Procurement Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that align with our business goals. You will lead a team of procurement professionals, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
* Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging components, and services.
* Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, R&D, and finance to ensure alignment of procurement activities.
* Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
* Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain.
* Manage procurement budgets and report on KPIs to senior leadership.
What you will bring:
* Proven experience (8+ years) in procurement leadership roles, preferably within the packaging or manufacturing industry.
* Strong negotiation, Estimation, Pricining, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
* Excellent knowledge of supply chain management, sourcing, and contract management.
* Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
* Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
